Price/Layton - Bill passed away peacefully on September 19, 2018 from a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born May 26, 1931 in Price, Utah to Tom E. and Cleora Edwards Revas. Attended Carbon High School class of 1949. Bill was a sergeant in the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. Bill married his beauty and the love of his life, Karen Marie Rowley, on May 7, 1960 in Huntington Utah. Later solemnized in the Manti, Utah LDS temple.
Bill owned and operated Bill's Barber Shop in Price, Utah for 40 years. He was the first left-handed barber to be licensed in the state of Utah. He was told by his instructors that it couldn't be done, but he did it. He was a retired coal miner as well, having worked for Braztah Coal Co. and Price River Coal Co.
He loved doing his crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles every day. He loved bowling, watching the Jazz win and the Utes beat BYU. He loved playing basketball with his sons and son-in-law and was a great free throw shooter. He played ball well into his sixties.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jim and Lucas, sisters Georgia Nagy and Christine Smock. Survived by his wife Karen, sons Tom, Steve and Scott, and daughter Cindi Lamph, and sister Catherine Mabie, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank those from hospice that took care of Bill, nurses Cailey and Cory. Also Shannon and Irene, and those from our ward that helped us so much and many others too numerous to name.
