Blaine Garrett (Gary) Molyneaux, honored husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away on January 16, 2009 at his home with his wife at his side. Blaine was born May 21, 1934 in Mona Utah to Vaughn and Geneva (Garrett) Molyneux. Growing up in Mona, he learned how to work while being raised on a farm. He began his studies at Utah State University in Logan where he met his soul mate, Joyce Griffin. He entered the military service during the Korean War and on March 19, 1955, he married Joyce while training at Fort Ord, CA. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Utah Temple. After 2 years in the military, Blaine returned to Utah State where he completed his bachelor''s degree in Forestry and Soils Agronomy. He then began a career with the US Forest Service that took the family to Richfield, UT, Fillmore, UT, Twin Falls, ID, Elko, NV and then Ogden, Utah where he retired in 1989. Blaine loved his work and enjoyed being close to nature. He had a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and served valiantly in all his church callings. His children were blessed by his example and his love of the Savior. During his later years, he also served a mission with his wife and found great joy working in the Temple.

Blaine is survived by his wife, Joyce Griffin Molyneaux (Kaysville), daughter Polly Jones, Dennis Blaine (Pamela) Molyneaux, Greg Vaughn Molyneaux, and Julie Ann (Barry) Bryson, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grand children, brother Max (Kathy) Molyneux and sister Janice (Terry) Pritchett. He is preceded in death by granddaughter Megan Joyce Molyneaux, grandson Skyler Wendell Bryson, son-in-law Douglas Jones, and brother Clark (Cleo) Molyneaux.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Kaysville Fourteenth Ward, 550 South 9 West at 11 a.m. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
