Blanche M. Pucci Bare

Blanche M. Pucci Bare, 93, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017, being reunited with the love of her life. She was born on April 11, 1924 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Germano and Celestina Del Rio Pucci. Blanche graduated from Battle Mountain High School as class valedictorian and Stevens Henager Business School.

She married Roger Clayton Bare on November 30, 1946 in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Roger passed away on March 5, 2004.

Blanche is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Parrish. She worked at Commercial Security Bank and IRS as a tax examiner retiring after many years.

Blanche was a member of the Women’s Lion Club, Women’s DAV Auxiliary, Ogden Bowling Association, and Ogden Elk Does. She enjoyed bowling, going to Wendover and Idaho to gamble, and shopping. She took great pride in everything, especially her appearance, yard, and home.

Blanche is survived by her daughters, Linda Marocchi of West Haven and Judie McWain of Ogden; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, a grandson, parents, and sister.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 24th St., Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park.
