Bliss Hawks Rasmussen

ROY a€" Bliss Hawks Rasmussen, 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 8, 2007 at Heritage Park Care Center.

She was born March 2, 1912 in Portage, Utah to Franklin Levi and Cloe Maria Harris Hawks.

On December 17, 1929, Bliss married Clifford H. Rasmussen in Huntsville, Utah. Together they had five children, Dorthy and Gene Randles, Verl and Yvonne Rasmussen, Duane and Joan Rasmussen, Robert and Joan Rasmussen, and Terry and Penny Rasmussen. Clifford preceded her in death on April 29, 1988.

Bliss worked at the Gray Cliff Lodge in Ogden Canyon and retired in 1974. She went back to school and received her high school diploma on June 7, 1990, at the age of 78.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Bliss is survived by her children, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 17 great- great-grandchildren, and a sister, Colleen Kirkpatrick of Logan.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Heritage Park Care Center and Dr. Stelter.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 13th at 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
