Bob Eckstein

Bob Eckstein RIVERDALE – Charles Robert “Bob” Eckstein, 76, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 at McKay-Dee Hospital. He was born August 8, 1930 in Troy, Missouri, a son of Louis and Mary Whitecamp Eckstein. Bob married Margaret “Peggy” Coop on October 16, 1953 in Ogden. They were later divorced. Bob owned Bob’s Landscaping Service and was a landscaper for many years. He also worked as a food manager for the State Industrial School. Surviving are one son and three daughters, Kent (Karen) Eckstein, Harrisville; Sheree (Eric) Evans, Eden; Michelle (Scott) Gordon, Bellingham, WA; Julie (D.J.) Bybee, Syracuse; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Kenneth Eckstein, Rocky Mount, MO; and Donald Eckstein, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. The family expresses special thanks to Del and Sheri Cunningham and Lindsey Meenderink. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
