Bobbie Barnett

Bobbie Jo Maestas Barnett

The world is a little darker today. Many hearts are broken. We lost our daughter, mother, niece, and best friend. Bobbie Jo Maestas Barnett was born on January 6, 1979 to Darlene Templeton Maestas and Amarante Joe (Sunny) Maestas. She died from an injury due to a fall on January 3, 2015. She was their only child and a true joy and light in their lives.

Bobbie Jo married Daniel Val Barnett and they later divorced, but the greatest thing they did together was to have four wonderful children, Wyatt, Kylee, Jada and Katelyn. She truly loved her children and worked hard to be an intricate part of their lives. She was so proud of all their accomplishments and she knew that they were the smartest, brightest, and most beautiful children in the world.

Bobbie Jo loved people and was a good friend to many. Special thanks to Eloy Gutierrez, her dearest friend, for his friendship, love and support and for loving little Katie as if she were his own. Her neighbors will miss her visits, the carpool service she provided, and the fun times. She was also dedicated to her mother whom she lived with and whom she took good care of.

Bobbie was lucky to have both a father and a mother who cared about her and her children. Special thanks to them.

We would also like to thank the special doctors and nurses at the Ogden Regional Hospital ICU Unit for their heroic efforts in trying to care for Bobbie. Their dedicated service will not be forgotten.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main. Friends may visit family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary prior to the service. A “Bobbie Jo Barnett Memorial Fund” has been established at the Wells Fargo Bank. Anyone interested in contributing may do so at any Wells Fargo Branch, account number 9837317230, 1-800-869-3557.

Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
