Bobbie “Lee” Tyler

Bobbie “Lee” Tyler passed away on November 11, 2015 due to complications from heart surgery.
Lee was born on September 13, 1930 in Dexter, Missouri. She was the youngest child of John and Ida Gamel. After high school, Lee moved to Denver, CO. There she met and married Robert R. Tyler in 1950. They lived in Colorado, Iowa, Canada, Wisconsin, and finally settled in Ogden.
Lee was active in working with and for the handicapped in both Wisconsin and Utah. She was a Cub Scout leader, 4-H Leader, and was active in the PTA. Lee loved to travel. She and Bob were always on the go. Lee loved to do crafts. She was especially gifted when it came to crocheting.
Lee was very active in her church. She was the Communion assistant, read the lessons, and was on many church committees.
Lee is survived by her husband, Robert; son, David; and daughters, Peggy and Lisa; 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sons, Robert Keith and Jeffery; and all her siblings.
The family wants to thank the McKay Dee ICU staff for their support and care during Lee’s time at the hospital.
A Memorial service celebrating Lee’s life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 5560 South 2300 West, Roy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Our Saviors Lutheran Church building fund.
