Bobby Alonzo

Bobby Alonzo Bobby Alonzo, 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 28, 2019. He was born to Carmen Fraga and Raymondo Alonzo, Jr., in Lubbock, Texas.

He later moved to Ogden, Utah and became a longtime resident of Roy, Utah. He graduated from Washington High School and attended the Apostolic Assembly of Faith Church.

Bobby was a formulator at Nutraceutical Corporation for 27 years.

He married Monica Garcia and together they had two daughters, LaTesha and Ariel Alonzo.

Bobby was a hardworking man who loved his family dearly. He was a very loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Bobby kept the family together by having summer bbq’s and family get togethers. Family was most important to him.

He enjoyed spending his lunch break’s at his mother’s where he would take his power naps. He adored his mother and step-father, Ed, who he enjoyed watching sports and having a “coldie’ together.

Bobby had many hobbies and interests in sports. He had a long time passion for baseball and won many trophies. He loved his Saturday morning golfing with his brother, Fernando. He had a very close bond with his brothers, Eddie, Manuel and his two sisters, Sylvia and Cynthia. He loved to travel especially to his hometown Lubbock, TX to watch Texas Tech play every year. He was a die-hard Red Raiders and Cowboys fan. Bobby was one of a kind and always knew how to make everyone laugh. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. “GUNZUP FOREVER”

Bobby is survived by his daughters, Ariel and LaTesha (Andrew), seven grandchildren, his parents, Carmen(Ed) Fraga, brothers, Eddie and Fernando and sisters, Sylvia (Manuel) and Cynthia. He was preceded in death by his father Raymondo Jr. Alonzo and brother, Roy Alonzo.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Apostolic Assembly of Faith, 1634 Kiesel Ave., Ogden. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Inurnment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
