KAYSVILLE a€" Bobby Leroy Whitley, 83, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at his home.

He was born July 11, 1925 in Hoxie, AR the son of Thomas Jackson and Tessie Baugh Whitley.

Bob married Beverly May Asay on March 11, 1950 in Reno, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.

He loved serving in the Jordan River and Bountiful Temples.

Bob drove for Hadley Auto Transport for 35 accident free years.

He enjoyed golf, and sure had fun making a few hole-in-ones.

Surviving are his wife Beverly, children, Beverly (Lee Phillip) Murdock, Idaho; Becky Miles, So. Ogden; Brian (Elizabeth) Whitley, Kaysville; and Brent (Tracey) Whitley, Tenn. He is the grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and the brother of Jackson Whitley, Charles (Penny) Whitley, Patricia (Harold) Gilmore and Dorothy (Charles) Holloway.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Webster Meadows Ward, 1505 W. Whispering Meadows Lane, Kaysville. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
