Bonnie Bell (Gehring) Beraz

LAYTON a€" Bonnie Bell Beraz, 65, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011.

She was born November 26, 1945 in San Francisco, California the daughter of Lauchlan Bell and Charlene Clara Wakelee Gehring.

Bonnie married Thomas Glen Beraz on June 4, 1971 in El Sobrante, California. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Oakland Temple. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1999.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bonnie was involved with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and held many callings in the church. Her favorite work was working with the handicap and emotionally disturbed children.

She loved gardening, sewing, her family and her dogs.

Surviving are her children: Sandee Marie Beraz (Scott) Robison, Rebecca KaLynn Beraz (Craig) Schofield, Thomas Jacob (Amanda) Beraz and her three grandsons, Sean Robison, Stanley Robison and Jacob Beraz.

Preceded in death by her husband.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

The family would like to give thanks for the special care from Farmington Bay Dialysis and the many doctors and nurses she came in contact with.

In lieu of flowers family suggest donations be made to offset funeral arrangements.
