Bonnie Lynn Amidan Bitton passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, July 17, 2017.

She was born on August 12, 1943 to Wayne Amidan and Thelma Leavitt in Ogden, Utah.  She married her husband of 47 years, Richard Blair Bitton on September 25, 1970 in Ogden, Utah.

Bonnie was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She loved gardening and was an excellent homemaker who could decorate and cook like no other. She also loved her many dogs and parakeets she had throughout her life.  She was a strong soul who could run circles around anyone, even though she had MS for the past 34 years.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Richard Shane Bitton and Todd Johnston; one daughter, Lori Johnston; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Sheryll Arave (Leon), Joyce Courtney (Ivan) and Elaine Butler (Frank).  She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Bart Johnston and one sister Beverlee Tippets.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
