NORTH OGDEN – Bonnie Beatrice Dinwiddie, 86, passed away, Friday, January 8, 2016 while visiting her son and daughter-in-law in Ridgecrest, CA.  She passed away from complications associated with pneumonia.

She was born on December 17, 1929 in Taft, CA, the daughter of Arnold Wright Jensen and Beatrice Evelyn Coward.  She had two older brothers Robert and Kenny that preceded her in death.  Bonnie loved the outdoors, camping in Sequoia National Park and riding motorcycles.

On April 28, 1951, Bonnie married Lonnie James Dinwiddie in China Lake, CA.  They had three children, Monte, Blaine, and Dana and she helped raise another son Mike from a previous marriage of Lonnie’s.  She was a devoted and loving mother to her children and a friend to all.

In 1975 she and Lonnie moved to Fredericktown, MO so Lonnie could fulfill his dream of owning a farm.  After nearly 24 years in Missouri, they moved to North Ogden, UT in 1999 where she spent the remainder of her years.  She was an active member of  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving other people.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and husband.  She is survived by three sons, Michael (Gwen) Dinwiddie, Kearney, Arizona; Monte (Denise) Dinwiddie, Ridgecrest, California; and Blaine (Terri) Dinwiddie, Omaha, Nebraska; and a daughter, Dana Gundersen, Ogden, Utah.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren that she adored.  She will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
