CLEARFIELD a€" Bonnie Dean Laurence Hamblin, 82 passed away on Wednesday December 12, 2012. We lost a dear, sweet, gentle wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Bonnie was born in Hyrum, Utah Oct 22 1930, daughter of Glen Rue & Eliza (Bowcutt) Laurence. She grew up in Cache Valley and moved to Clearfield in her teens where she met the love of her life Neldon Hamblin. They married in the Logan Temple. Neldon & Bonnie were blessed with six wonderful Sons, the pride and joy of her life. Later she enjoyed six special Daughters-in-law. Bonnie had many talents from cooking to handiwork in the house and yard. She was a friend to everyone she met. Her greatest joy was and is her family. She enjoyed traveling and camping with family and friends. Bonnie was active in church and social activities. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Clearfield 8th Ward) and served as first Lady of Clearfield City for 16 years. Bonnie was selected as Clearfield City''s Mother of the year in 2000.

She is survived by her husband Neldon, six sons, Rick (Marilyn), Cary (JoAnne), Kirk (Cindy), Clair (Karen), Doug (Barbara), Darren (Melanie), 31 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Glen Rue, Vern, Farrell, Phil and sister, Shirley (Leon) Simmons.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary 1867 N Fairfield, Layton Utah. Friends may visit family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
