CLEARFIELD a€" Bonnie June Stephenson Hodge, 84, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013.

She was born October 18, 1928 in Topaz, Idaho the daughter of Daniel Preston and Annie Agnes Jensen Stephenson. Bonnie attended schools in Lava Hot Springs and graduated from Ogden High School.

She met the love of her life working at Farr''s Ice Cream in Ogden. Bonnie married Robert Lamar Hodge on August 27, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1997.

Bonnie was Clearfield City Recorder for 40 years. She was very active in the Clearfield 9th ward, holding many ward and stake callings.

Bonnie loved spending time and doing things with and for her family. She made beautiful handmade quilts for many family members. Holidays were always special with wonderful food, especially at Christmas. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice.

Surviving are two sons, Doug (Sharon), Layton; Scott (Diane), Roy; daughter, Leslee (Mark) Williamsen, Kaysville; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and sister Ermaleen (Durwood) Miller, Plymouth, NH. Preceded in death by her husband, son Stephen L. Hodge, four brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
