Bonnie LuRae Hoskins

Bonnie LuRae Hoskins, 82, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013. She was born on March 18, 1931, in Mendon, Utah to Earl and Marjory Emma Olsen Bird.

She married LaMar V. Hoskins on November 27, 1951 in Elko, Nevada and later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. LaMar and Bonnie moved to Layton where she lived until her passing.

Bonnie was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to serve as the chorister in her ward.

She worked in multiple positions at Hill Air Force Base. She loved planting and had a beautiful garden. Her greatest joy was being involved with her children and grandchildren''s lives. She centered her life around her family.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, LaMar, Layton; son, Paul Hoskins; daughters, Vonna (Mike) Cassidy, Spokane, WA; Terry (Jim) Allen, Ogden; and Connie (Ric) Sim, Ogden; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marjean Therian, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Hoskins, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 grandson, David Sim, and 1 great-granddaughter, Kylee Sim.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
