Bonnie Lou Jensen

July 24, 1935 ~ April 12, 2014

Bonnie was born on July 24, 1935 in Vernal, Utah to Grace Duke and Lester Jay Searle.  She later moved to Ogden, Utah and graduated from Ogden High School.

Bonnie married Boyd Jensen in March of 1955.  They traveled living in several states and settled in Syracuse, Utah in 1970.

She enjoyed reading books, watching movies, and helping others in need.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Boyd Jensen, Syracuse; two daughters, Cindy (Jeff) Shepherd, Clinton, UT; and Debra Jensen, Draper, UT; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one sister, Loa (Larry) Chantland, and two brothers, Rex (Kip) Searle and Jack Searle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Carl and Max; and sisters, Nyla Short and Erla Petersen.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
