Bonnie Lou McKee (Barnes)
March 28, 1938 — November 5, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Bonnie Lou McKee announces her passing on November 5, 2022, in her 84th- year, after living a full life filled with laughter and love.
Bonnie will be missed but lovingly remembered by our family, beloved mother of Becky Ann (Paul) Rose, Brandi Sue (David) Jackola, and Brooke Elaine Barnes (Philip Bareither), as well as her second husband Robert Marshall McKee (December 18, 1939 - January 19, 2017, Married September 1, 2012), and our loving father, Byron F. Barnes (September 11, 1938 - April 21, 2005, Married June 14, 1968), who she will be laid to rest next to and will spend all eternity with.
Bonnie was a faithful Christian soldier and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved and served the Lord and many people as a member in the Church.
Bonnie spent her early years in Weiner, Waldenburg, and Jonesboro, Arkansas and then Farmington, New Mexico before arriving in Utah. She met our father Byron though a mutual friend in their LDS singles ward, and as they say, the rest was history. Byron and Bonnie married on June 14, 1968, made their home in Centerville, Utah where she lived until she passed away. They and their family have many happy memories together in the family home.
