Bonnie Jean White Wheelwright
Centerville – Bonnie J. Wheelwright loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away February 14, 2019 and spent her Valentine’s Day with her sweetheart after a 23 years separation.
She was born September 25, 1930 in Tremonton, Utah to Thomas H. and Fay R. White. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in 1949. Married Kent N. Wheelwright in Ogden, Utah on September 29, 1951. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1996.
Bonnie was active in the Bountiful Ladies of Elks, holding several offices at the local and state level. She was also a member of Oakridge Country Club for many years holding several offices in the Ladies Association.
Bonnie took great pride in keeping a beautiful home and yard for her family. She had a heart of gold and would help out anyone in need.
Survived by children Greg (Linda) Wheelwright, Gary (Robin) Wheelwright, Karen (Jeff) Wright, Kristian (Ken) Carling, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister. Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers and a grandson.
The family would like to thank Creekside Senior Living and Utah Home Health & Hospice staff for their wonderful care of Mom the last six months of her life.
Graveside services for family were held on Sat. February 16, 2019 at Lakeview Memorial Estates, Bountiful, Utah under the directions of Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
Per Bonnie’s request there will be no funeral, but a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Oakridge County Club, 1492 West Shepard Lane, Farmington, Utah. Open house from 2:00 to 4:00 pm for family and friends.
