Bonnie Rae Williams

July 21, 1956 — May 10, 2024

Our sweet mom, wife, grandma, sister, and friend passed away peacefully in her home following a yearlong battle with brain cancer at the age of 67.

Bonnie was born in Ogden, UT to Clarence and Jewel Lauenstein on July 21, 1956. She grew up in Clearfield and graduated from Clearfield High School in 1974. She was the 4th of 5 children and leaves behind her siblings: Dennis (Judith) Lauenstein, Randy (Pat) Lauenstein, Jerry (Tina) Lauenstein and Cindy (Craig) Bingham.

Bonnie lived a very happy life and enjoyed creating memories with her loving husband Glenn, who gave her the best care up until her passing. Together they had two children: Amanda (Blake) Thurgood and Chad (Chelsea) Williams. Along with six grandchildren: Jackson, Madison, Lincoln, Carter, Ryker, and Tate.

Bonnie loved to sew, read, and watch her grandkids excel in the sports they loved. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest blessing and the thing she cherished most in this world. She would do anything for them and spent countless hours on her knees praying for their well-being and protection. She was their greatest support and would do anything for them.

Bonnie was a friend to all and would do anything to help others. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and has served in many capacities within the church. After retiring from the Internal Revenue Service as a manager for 30 plus years she had the opportunity to serve as a missionary at the church office building in Salt Lake City in the Correlation Department.

Bonnie will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She leaves a legacy of faith, love, service, and kindness and will forever be in our hearts.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 11:00 am at Lindquist Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch. 1718 Combe Rd. Ogden UT. Friends may visit with family on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary. 869 South 2000 West, Syracuse UT.

The family wishes to thank Rachel and Dalys from Inspiration Home Health & Hospice. These women made such a difference in helping Bonnie feel comfortable and taken care of and the family will forever be grateful to them for their compassion and service.
