Boston Johns

Boston Ann Johns

Our precious little angel passed away May 25, 2017, having never taken a breath.  We found out Friday that she had a condition that was not compatible for life and that her life on earth would be short.  We had to make one of the hardest decisions a family should have to make and that was to induce early knowing she wouldn’t live long.  She fought to the very end, but due to complications of the pregnancy she wasn’t able to continue the fight. She was born at 3:35 pm weighing 1 lb. 14 oz. and was 14 inches long.  She was a perfect little girl and we were able to spend time with her doing the things you would do in a normal situation; family pictures, first bath, dress her in a beautiful dress. And what girl isn’t complete without her first pair of shoes and some bling.

Although she was only in our lives for a short time, she will be forever in our hearts.  The kids had big plans for her like playing softball, taking her to Disneyland for the first time, or just watching Paw Patrol and playing “people.”  Brighton kissed mommy’s belly a thousand times a day to tell her he loved her and you could tell she loved him because she would kick every time she heard his voice.  The impact she made on our family in the short time she was with us will be felt, our lives are better because of her.  We are comforted to know that this is not the end and that we will be together again to raise her.

We express sincere appreciation to all of our friends and family for their outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.  The staff at Davis Hospital was amazing, especially Dr. Karen Boheen and Christi, thank you for making this only a single service.

She is survived by her parents Jennifer and Dale, her big sister Brooklyn, her brothers Braxton and Brighton. Grandparents: Mike and Sonja King, David Johns. And many other Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Pioneer Park Ward Chapel, 1449 So. Thoroughbred Way, Kaysville.  Friends may visit with family from 9:45 to10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
