Boyce Gray Morton, 86, passed away on September 2, 2018. He was born on September 16, 1931 in Lee County, North Carolina, the son of Joseph Paul and Flora Jane Gilmore Morton.

He served in the Army during the Korean War and Vietnam War. He retired from the Army after many years of service, and then he served as an aircraft refueling specialist at Hill Air Force Base until retiring there.

Boyce married Rada Elmer on September 13, 1957 in Sunset, UT. They raised two children together, loved golf, and traveled extensively together in their motor home. Boyd was kind, a good provider, and a dedicated and loving husband. They shared nearly 61 years together.

Boyce is survived by his children, Diane Kay Criddle, Ogden, UT and Michael Ray (Diane) Morton, Layton, UT; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren with more on the way; brother, Ronnie Morton, Sanford, NC; sisters, Elizabeth (Jimmy) Wester, Broadway, NC; Brenda Boyer, Sanford, NC; and Gayle Paul, Sanford, NC.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mae Collier.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Porterville Cemetery. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
