Bradley James Hanson, 59, died March 15, 2018 in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born in Logan on January 2, 1959 to Emil Otto and Joanne Beverly James Hanson.

Brad was raised and schooled in Ogden, graduating from Bonneville High School Class of 1977. He worked in industrial construction for most of his working life, traveling for much of his work as a millwright and later as a superintendent.

When Brad met Cindy she became the love of his life and they were married August 30, 2002 in South Ogden, Utah. Their families blended as one.

Brad was very hard-working and conscientious. He always took pride in the care of his home and yard. He was a very talented carpenter and good at whatever he set his hand to. He loved golf and woodworking, but most of all he loved his family and they loved him.

Brad is survived by his wife, Cindy Hanson, Plain City; children, Rodney (Keriann) Crandall, Ogden, Cassie (Paul) Baumgartner, West Haven, Hollie Ann Hanson (Kevin) Moore, Hooper, and Tracy (Josh) Clifton, Plain City; nine grandchildren, Daelyn, Madisine, Kyler, Alexus, Jace, Jacob, Tielee, Kambrie, and Taiten “Little Brad”; parents, Emil (Joanne) Hanson, Ogden; siblings, Keith (Teresa) Hanson, Ogden, Joy (Brett) Shelton, North Ogden, Grant (Kammy) Hanson, Clearfield, and Larry (Lisa) Hanson, New York, NY; by his special cousins, Vickie Hooten and Mike Shapiro, and by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Hanson, cousin, Herman Hooten, and by his face-licking friend, Lil’ Grizz.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N Washington Blvd., Ogden. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6 pm to 8 pm and Wednesday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E 2850 N, North Ogden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Brad J. Hanson Memorial Fund at any branch of Wasatch Peaks Credit Union.
