Bradley Joseph Von Niederhausern

March 7, 1948 — March 16, 2025

Matthew 5:9 KJV

“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”

Bradley Joseph Von Niederhausern passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, March 16, 2025, and returned to his Heavenly Father who he loved dearly. He was born in Logan, UT on March 7, 1948. He graduated from Logan High School in 1966. He then served a full-time mission to England and Wales returning in 1969. He met his wife, Lorna, and they were married in the Logan Temple on January 7, 1970. He graduated with an associate’s degree in marketing from Stevens-Henager College in 1973.

Brad was an avid reader and had an extensive book collection. He loved to write and loved listening to his music. You could always catch him tinkering with one of his many old stereo systems. He loved his family and prioritized them over everything. He was patient, kind, and gentle. He was a peacemaker and touched the lives and hearts of many with his compassion and generosity.

Brad had an incredible work ethic. He worked two full time jobs for decades to provide for his family. He worked at Thiokol for 32 years. In 2009, Brad was diagnosed with kidney failure and heart failure. He was on dialysis for three years before receiving the gift of life through organ donation. Brad had many complications and illnesses throughout the last 16 years, but we were truly blessed to have so many extra years with him through the mercy and grace of our Heavenly Father and thanks to an incredible healthcare team. We want to express our immense gratitude to the University of Utah Transplant Program as well as Dr. Trevor Smith, Dr. Degrauw, and Dr. Almony for helping to extend his life.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Joyce Von Niederhausern; brother, Gregory Von Niederhausern; sister, Kristy Lee; and his son, Randy Von Niederhausern.

He is survived by his wife, Lorna Niederhauser; daughters- Kimberly (Alan) Sticht and Camarine Hill; grandchildren- Brittany, Jarod, Samuel, Joshua, Chloe and Cohen; Great grandchildren- Caleb, Connor, Kyler, Matteo, and Alex; as well as his sisters- Alecia (James) Porras, Gaylene (Rick) Burtenshaw; Brother, Rohn Von Niederhausern; Brother in law, Richard Lee; and many nieces and nephews and other family members who will sadly miss him.
