Brady Gary Mark

July 22, 1971 ~ August 12, 2017

Brady Gary Mark, 46, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 resulting from a traumatic motorcycle accident.  He was born on July 22, 1971 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Gary Wayne and Karen Rasmussen Mark.  He graduated from Roy High School in 1989.

He met the love of his life unknowingly in high school when his best friend was dating her best friend.  A couple of years and three months later, Brady and Jennifer Marie Walton were married. After 13 years of marriage they purchased a small block of land that grew to 12 acres. On July 23rd Brady and Jenny celebrated their 23rd anniversary. Brady was everything to Jenny, Lilly, and Dottie.  They enjoyed sitting by the pond, eating Burger Bar, and riding the Ranger through 12 acre piece of paradise.

His favorite places besides home were in Mesquite, NV with Pa and Roz and in Oregon with his Sunshine watching the sunrises and sunsets, collecting seashells, and of course eating.

Brady enjoyed hunting with Pa, farming, camping, and hitting the buffet circuit. He loved his UTA family of 25 years, from his early driving days to fuel island. To our friends that are more like our family (there are too many of you to name, you know who you are) just know you are in our hearts and thoughts.

Brady is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Marie Walton Mark, West Weber; his Bassett fur babies, Lilly and Dottie. Parents, Gary Wayne (Roslyn) Mark and Karen Rasmussen Mark; inlaws, Dennis (Barbara) Walton and Michele & Ben Robins; sister, Brenda Karen Mark; brother-in-law, Joshua (Conni Stypa) Walton; nephew, Cody M. Mascarenas; many beautiful amazing nieces; and grandmother-in-law, Virginia Linn. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, April K. Mark; grandparents, Harold and Arda Bigler Rasmussen and Estel and Freda Ritter Mark; and grandfather-in-law, John Linn.

Brady you are my whole world. You are my Sunshine. I’m going to make you proud and be strong. I’m going to be ok.

Even though he was wearing his helmet and gear, my Sunshine is gone. Please be aware of motorcycles, wear your helmets, and gear, because I don’t want anyone to have to go through what I am going through.

The family would like to thank their work families at UTA in Ogden and Fresenius.  Thank you for all of your love and concern.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. the West Weber 1st Ward, 4100 West 900 South.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, West Weber Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund has been set up in Brady and Jenny’s name at America First.
