Brady Blaine Wright

Brady Blaine Wright lived by the mantra of his best friend SpiderMan- “With great power comes great responsibility.” With his gifts of bravery, sweetness, and love, Brady has dutifully kept a protective vigil over his family, who in turn did their best to care for this choice son of God. 

Brady slipped peacefully to the next stage of his journey after a long battle with JMML leukemia. Brady is no stranger to medical care, as he entered this world at just 24 weeks gestation. He endured many subsequent surgeries and procedures, beating all odds to go on to have a very healthy, normal childhood where none was promised. Brady was diagnosed with leukemia at age 4, and enjoyed several more years of fun and happiness with his family while enduring the rigors of treatment. 

Brady’s laugh lit up every room he entered. He was a lover of games, puzzles, and especially loved a good round of chess. He loved all things from the Marvel Universe, and whooped and hollered through SpiderMan’s newest movie in theaters. Brady loved to drive fast, and lately planned family picnics he could drive his four-wheeler to. 

Brady’s family, while heartbroken, celebrate the gift of time they were given with him. Brady was preceded in death by his big brother, Bradley Mark Wright. Brady is survived by his mother, Samantha Maughan Wright, his father Samuel Blaine Wright and mom2, Kelley Anderson Wright. He is also survived by his younger brothers, Bryce Eugene Wright and Samuel Philip Wright. 

May we all be a little less critical, a little quicker to forgive, and a little kinder in our words in honor of Brady today. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the Ogden Mount Lewis 2^nd Ward, 435 North Jackson Avenue. The family will meet with friends Thursday, April 14^th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the church.

Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
