NORTH OGDEN a€" Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Brenda Hill Maylin, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 21, 2010.

Brenda was born September 25, 1952 in Payson, Utah, the daughter of Darrell B. and Evelyn P. Hill. Brenda moved to Roy with her family in 1962. She graduated from Roy High School in 1970.

Brenda married her eternal sweetheart, Charles Joseph Maylin, on December 9, 1977. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

Brenda''s true joy in her life was her family. She enjoyed listening to music a€" her favorite was late 50''s and early 60''s. Brenda''s favorite artist was Bobby Vee. She always told her husband she wished she had been blessed with a singer''s voice. However, her husband was the only one she would let hear her sing. Brenda was a servant at heart. She was always concerned about the needs of those around her. Brenda''s favorite sport was baseball. She donated many hours coaching youth throughout the years.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Charles Maylin, North Ogden; four children, Karla (John) Arbon, Willard; Kari (Brian) Walters, Butler Township, OH; Andrew Maylin, Ogden; Eric Maylin (fiancAC. Lucy Gonzales), Ogden; five grandchildren, Brian, Breanne, Haley, Taylor, and Andrew.

Also surviving are two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 27 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.

Family will greet friends at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
