CLEARFIELD a€" Brent Eric Christensen, 59, our loving husband and father, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010 in Ogden.

He was born May 1, 1951 in Ogden, a son of Erick James and Dorothy Lucille Anderson Christensen.

Brent married Kathleen Pitzak on June 2, 1979 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

He worked for N.D.S. for 20 years. He later returned to school where he received his degree as a registered nurse and worked at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Brent loved all things outdoors: golfing, hunting, fishing, camping, and baseball. For those lucky enough to have known him know what a great man he was. He will be missed dearly.

Brent is survived by his wife Kathy, his children, Derick, Devin, Jordan, Kelly and Daniel; his sister, Mary Lou (Ross) Pearce; and two grandchildren, Jayden and Helen Christensen (Derick''s children).

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Jean and Sharon.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Warren Cemetery.

Family will visit with friends at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.
