Brent Douglas Cragun passed from this life on to his next great adventure on November 23, 2012. He was born on May 26, 1948 in Ogden, Utah to Paul Marlin Cragun and Verna Clinger Cragun. His happy childhood was spent in Ogden with his big brother Scott, his best friend and "partner in crime" at his side. Brent graduated from Ogden High School in 1966. He was then drafted into the military and served as Sergeant First Class in the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in January 1968.

Brent had many talents and as a result his working career was varied and took him to many different places. Brent loved the outdoors as he loved to ski, fish, camp, as well as practice gold panning. He had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel and meet new people and he made friends wherever he went. Despite his many health problems, Brent was a carefree, happy man, who was generous, loving, and greatly loved in return. We will miss our son, brother, uncle, father and grandpa, and know that we will be with him again in eternity. Brent is survived by his mother, Verna Clinger Cragun of Ogden, his father Paul Marlin Cragun of St. George; his brothers Scott (Gay) Cragun of St. George, Corey (Lorraine) Cragun of Eden, and Bruce (RaNae) Cragun of Harrisville; his step daughter Angentina Farley and grandchildren of Pleasant Grove, and also many devoted lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Clinton Cragun, and step mother Georgia Cragun. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may meet with family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Smithfield City Cemetery.
