Brent Kim Player "Father and Son Reunited"

OGDEN a€" Brent Kim Player, 64, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2012. After a lifelong battle with diabetes, "Kim" was born January 7, 1948 in Ogden, Utah to Brent H. and Thelma Wheelwright Player.

He was married to the love of his life and best friend Linda Higley, on October 5, 1979. Together they had 2 children Waylon and Shane Player. Shane previously passed away and Kim is now reunited with him. Kim also has two children from a previous marriage Brett and Curtis Player.

Kim was an avid collector of artifacts and knives. His real enjoyment came from the many animals in his life. In his younger days he enjoyed camping with his family and especially hunting and fishing with his boys.

Kim is survived by his wife Linda Player; father and stepmother Brent and Chris Player; 3 sons, Waylon, Brett and Curtis Player; brother Greg (Charlene) Player; sisters Mary Anne Lane and Carol (Jim) Cologna and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother Thelma and his son Shane.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. Friends may visit family on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
