Brenton Lane Whaley
November 30, 1979 ~ March 26, 2021
It is with great sadness the family of Brenton Lane Whaley announces his passing on March 26, 2021. Brent was born in Chugiak, Alaska on November 30, 1979 and moved to Ogden, Utah at the age of 7.
He stayed close to home and could always be counted on to attend the huge family gatherings the Whaley’s are known for holding. His sense of humor and contagious smile always brightened any day.
Brent was an avid scouter and really enjoyed working at several Boy Scout Camps, Camp Loll being one of his favorites. He was also very artistic and enjoyed coloring and doing puzzles as often as he could.
He joined the police academy in 2012. He graduated that same year and it was one of his proudest accomplishments.
Brent was the proud father of two and spent his adult life dedicating his days to his children. A child at heart, his sense of adventure and playfulness will be missed.
Brent is survived by his two children, Alexis (11) and Lincoln (8); his parents, Mark and Sylvia Whaley of Ogden, UT; his seven brothers and three sisters as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family of Brent has requested a private family only service.
Funeral services will be livestreamed and available on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 11 a.m. by scrolling to the bottom of Brent’s obituary.
