Brian Milton Burnham

Brian Milton Burnham, 51, a resident of North Ogden, passed away at his childhood home surrounded by his loving family, Sunday, May 15, 2016 after bravely enduring the challenges of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). He was born July 13, 1964 to Francis Nelson and Alice Ada Lindquist Burnham.

Brian spent his childhood in North Ogden. He received his Eagle Scout and graduated from Weber High School in 1982. He received a call and served honorably in the Canada Alberta Calgary Mission from 1983 to 1984. Brian met, fell in love and married his sweetheart Brenda Lee in the Salt Lake City Temple September 9, 1988. Their marriage was blessed with four wonderful boys. Brian and Brenda raised their boys in North Ogden during the boys’ younger years where he worked as an independent concrete and stucco contractor. They moved to Eagar, Arizona for 8 years where he worked as a power plant train worker. He then returned to Utah for his final years. Brian was always available to help others whenever needed. He was the first to clear the church parking lot after a snowstorm and loved his church callings always giving them 100%. He was a Young Men’s Advisor, Scout leader and especially loved being a primary teacher during his final years. He had a love for outdoor sports such as snowmobiling, fishing, bow hunting and four wheeling with his family.

Brian’s family would like to thank all the hospice care givers who have helped Brian and his family during his challenging times.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lee Burnham, North Ogden; sons, Brock Brian (Jessica) Burnham; Pleasant View; Callin James (Tiffani) Burnham, Pleasant View; Jaron Lee Burnham (fiancé Lexi Walker), North Ogden;  Alex Perry Burnham, North Ogden; grandson, Aiden Brian Burnham, granddaughter Tinlee Tink Burnham, siblings, Kari (Craig) Fredrickson, Taylor; Brent (Michele) Burnham, Anthem, Arizona; Mardie (Clark) Wolverton, Palmer, Alaska; Bryce (Sharon) Burnham, Eagar, Arizona; Brad (Coni) Burnham, Salina; Heather (Bryce) Nielsen, Elk Ridge; Alison (Bryn) Rhodes, Orem;  father and mother-in-law, Stuart and Kathy Lee, Ogden; brothers-in-law, Brent (Lisa) Lee, Brigham City; Brad (Kelli) Lee, West Point, and many nieces and nephews.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents.

A viewing will be held Friday May 20, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Lindquist's North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, North Ogden Stake Center at 626 East 2600 North, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow the funeral services at Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park in Ogden.
