Brian Halay

BRIAN HALAY

1959-2021

Brian Halay (61) sadly passed away at home on March 1, 2021. Brian was born in Wisconsin on March 10, 1959.  Brian was born to Teresa Zakhar and Frank Halay (later divorced. ) Teresa later married the love of her life Cliff Eastman. They had a blended family, however if you knew them there was no such thing as blended or step siblings. They are one big family.

Brian joined the Navy in 1984.  This is when he met his brother in arms Brad Jolley, who is and will be best friends for life. Brian then met Brad’s sister Vera, whom Brian later married and spent 31 wonderful years together. Brian built a great career off what he learned in the military working with Boilers. He loved his job; he took pride in his work. Brian was a gun and car enthusiast. He was restoring a classic 1969 GTO, which is his dream car.

Daughters: Stephanie and Denielle.

Granddaughters: Madajah, Jade; Great-Grandson Kyoni.

Brian had several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Brian had the biggest heart and he will be deeply missed. He is the love of my life. Brian my love, this isn’t the end, I’ll catch you on the other side of the moon.
