1969 ~ 2018

Brian Dee McIntier passed away peacefully at Davis Memorial Hospital in Layton, Utah due to complications after surgery on Sunday, February 4 2018. He was surrounded by numerous family members.

Brian was born May 13 1969 at Idaho Falls and grew up in Lewisville, Idaho. He graduated from Rigby High School in 1987.

Following graduation, Brian joined the United States Air Force. He served in Mt. Home ID, Cheyenne WY, 2 tours in Korea, Saudi Arabia, Spangdahlem Germany, and Biloxi MS. While stationed in Germany, he met and married Melissa Ann Matthews.

Brian retired from the USAF in November 2008 as a Technical Sergeant.

Brian and his family moved from Biloxi MS to Layton UT in 2014 and was residing there at the time of his death.

He is proceeded in death by his Grandparents Lowell Almon and Amy Jo McIntier, Arthur Edmond and Verlene Josephine Rasmussen.

He is survived by his wife Melissa Ann and daughters Adia Ann Stephanie, Bethany Christine, and Erin Rebecca Jean McIntier. His parents Milton Dee and Sonja Jean McIntier, his brother Douglas Arthur and wife Angela, sister Angela Jo and husband Michael Coburn, many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and cousins.

Brian’s family was his focus, hobby and greatest joy in life. He loved and adored his baby girls. He was loved so much by his family.  He was a wonderful husband and father, beloved son, crazy brother, favorite uncle, and trusted friend. He has left joy in our hearts and a hole we cannot fill. We will miss him more than words can say.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. Layton, UT.
