Brian L. Nielsen

Brian LeRoy Nielsen, 66, passed away at his home in American Fork on Sunday, December 29, 2024.

He was born October 11, 1958 in Provo, Utah to Edward LeRoy and VerNell Cook Nielsen. He grew up and attended school in Provo. He was proud to be a Christian; Brian knew the Lord, and the Lord knew Brian.

He worked as a truck driver in the Concrete and Rock Products industry and was a very hard worker and provider for his family. In his free time he enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, camping, tinkering, gardening, and remodeling. He was currently remodeling his garage, a project that while it will continue without him, will be one of his living legacies.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Connelly Nielsen; son, Jared Brian (Heidi) Nielsen of Lindon, Utah; daughters, Ashley Nielsen (Cole) Rose of Murray, Utah, Emily Nielsen (Lloyd) Kianfar of Murray, and Hannah Nielsen (TJ) Orr; 6 beautiful grandchildren; brother, James O. (Lisa) Nielsen, sisters Lori Nielsen (Charles) Griffith, and Raquel Nielsen Hale. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father; his sister Saundra, and his brother Lon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Services entrusted to Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.
