On Thursday February 7, 2019 our wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend returned to the loving arms of his heavenly father peacefully at his home in Layton, Utah surrounded by family.
Brian was born to Ralph and Lenora Pierce in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 15, 1964. He graduated from Layton High School in 1982. He worked several years in the automotive industry where he grew to love and become extremely passionate about cars, trucks and most importantly to him, his “Harley’s”
Brian loved riding his Harley Davidson, working on cars, teaching mechanics, spending time with his loved ones, golfing, camping, hunting and anything else having to do with the outdoors.
Brian is survived by his dad Ralph of Layton, Brothers; Dale (Trudy) of Layton, Corey (Christee) of Ogden, Ryan of Layton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by his mom Lenora A. Pierce, grandparents Kenneth C. and Lucy A. Perry, and grandparents Willard L. and Rosie M. Pierce.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the wonderful staff at the University of Utah Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Institute, Inspiration Home Health and Hospice and Aspire Home Health and Hospice for all their wonderful care and compassion for Brian over the last few years.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Friday, February 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.
