Brian Lee Smart was born July 17, 1973 in Logan Utah. He was the oldest child of four sons to Lorin and Janet Smart of Wallsburg, Utah. Brian passed away on December 8, 2022 at home in Layton Utah.
Brian served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Northern California Roseville mission. While on his mission in 1992, he met his wife Stacy Kienle-Smart. While several years passed and other paths were taken, Stacy and Brian were reunited in 2011 and were married on June 8, 2013. Brian and Stacy both had sons from prior marriages, Tyler James Smart 24 and Chase Reagan Lang 17, whom Brian loved with all his heart.
Brian loved hunting and fishing with his family and above all loved his family with all his heart. He loved his time in FFA in high school and all the wonderful, special memories and friends he made. Brian loved to cook, especially crawdads which we would all gather as a family. Brian loved to have his family all around him.
Brian is survived by his wife Stacy, his two sons Tyler and Chase, and parents Lorin and Janet Smart. He is also survived by his brother Kevin Smart (wife Pamela) , Jim Smart (wife Missy), Paul Smart (wife Lila). His nieces Raegan Smart, Peyton Smart, and Makenna Smart. His nephews Jake Smart, Jason Smart, Andy Smart, and Theo Smart.
We love you Brian-the best Dad, Son, Brother, and Uncle anyone could ever want. He will be missed dearly.
