Brie Anna Shaw

Brie Anna Shaw LAYTON – Brie Anna Shaw 29, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center, due to congestive heart failure. She was born on July 31, 1982 in Cottonwood, Utah the daughter of Brehon and Karen Cowan Shaw. She was a member of the LDS Church. Brie was attending the DATC for accounting. She was also the treasurer for the homeowners association REACH. She loved gardening, crafts, and spending time with her son and her favorite niece, Myla. She loved spending time outdoors with her family. Brie’s cherished her son and loved him with all her heart. She will always be watching over him from Heaven. Brie had the biggest green eyes that could light up a room and a beautiful smile. She was unselfish and donated her body to others in hope of them having a better life. Surviving are her little boy Avery, parents, sister Alisha (Don), niece, Myla, nephew, Brenin. Grandparents, Elden and Clara Cowan, cousin, Anitra who was bless to be there with her in the end, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and lots of extended family. Also surviving is her very special friend, Joe Wilson who was there for her and Avery every day. Preceded in death by her grandma and grandpa Shaw, great-grandmother Smith, Uncles Bruce and Brian and other loving family members. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 So. State Street. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Thanks to the many nurses and doctors at McKay-Dee Hospital who took very good care of her until her release. Also thanks to the doctors at Davis Hospital who did everything they possibly could.
