Never doubt my love for you

I know you wonder why…

Just know my strength will be your joy

My love will never die.

Our loving “Britness”, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunty, and loyal friend tragically passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015.  We are deeply saddened and our hearts are forever broken.  The world lost a beautiful, energetic spirit.  Her smile and laugh could brighten up anyone’s day; she had a sense of humor that was so fun and very unique to her.  Britney loved very deeply, was a great listener, and gave the biggest, best hugs in the world.  No matter what her friends were going through in their lives she was always there to listen without judgment, just a warm, inviting, comforting place to go.  She will be deeply missed by so many people who absolutely loved and adored her.

Born on March 10, 1975 to Cheri Arave and Jim Gidley, Britney was the most beautiful baby girl with a head full of beautiful black hair.  She was raised in Ogden by her mother and stepfather, Phillip B. Howell, who was an amazing father to her and a constant light in her life.

Britney was very intelligent growing up and was placed in all of the gifted programs her schools had to offer.  She was also a very gifted and talented dancer.  She danced most of her young life and excelled on Weber High School’s dance team, where she later graduated.

Britney married Matt Toller in 1995, together they had two beautiful children, Tehya and Hunter who she adored. They later divorced.

She married Cliff Holstein, along with him came his two children, Brikell and Tylor, who Britney loved dearly.  After 10 years they went separate ways.

She spent the last three years of her life with her close companion and love Joey Gil.

Britney worked in collections for many years at Bonneville Collections, and Flying J. Corporate.  At the time of her passing she was working in the Health Care Insurance Benefits Field.

Britney is survived by her daughter, Tehya Toller; son, Hunter Toller; grandson, Kendrik Aragon; mom, Cheri Howell; dad, James Gidley; brother, Casey Gidley; sisters, Kami Clark, Kailialoha (Josh) Hill, Kaiulani Howell (Travis Rittenour); grandparents, Dolores Gidley and Sheryll Arave; and two stepchildren.  She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Phillip B. Howell; both grandfathers, one uncle and two aunts.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may meet family on Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.  Cremation to follow.
