Bruce Bloomfield

BRUCE L. BLOOMFIELD

1936-2016

Bruce L. Bloomfield was born August 24, 1936 in Gallup N.M. to Vernon James Bloomfield and Ruth Bush Bloomfield.  He passed away peacefully on September 7, 2016.  Bruce married Heidi Scheuring on September 26, 1959, in Lohr am Main, Germany and were married for 57 years.

Bruce served in the Utah Air National Guard achieving the rank of Master Sergeant.  He was a Materials Engineer for the State of Utah, retiring after 25 years of service.  Bruce volunteered as a Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed coaching little league baseball.  He was a member of the Mountain Road Church.

Bruce is survived by his wife Heidi; sons, B. Alex Bloomfield, Fred Bloomfield; granddaughters Jessica (Andrew) Snyder, Rebecca (Layne) Keetch, Chelsy; great-granddaughter, Aspen Keetch.

Preceded in death by daughter-in-law Kristi Bloomfield.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2016 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, UT., where friends may visit from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
