OGDEN a€" Bruce Edward Heulitt, 50, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012.

He was born February 26, 1962 in Freehold, New Jersey the son of Russell and Ruth Schlechtweg Heulitt.

Bruce served in the USAF for 11 years.

He married Michelle Williams. They were later divorced. He married Kristin Anderson on September 25, 2000 in Ogden, Utah. Bruce was a member of the NRA and a lifetime member of the Brigham Trap Shooting Club.

He enjoyed shooting, reloading, gardening, fixing things, hunting, time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife Kristin, son Justin and granddaughter Brooklyn Heulett Hess, daughter Ashlee (Nick) Booth and granddaughter, Brinlynn, daughter Larissa (Mike) Bowcutt, grandchildren, Mekhila, Cheyenne and Kaiden Bowcutt, son Trevor Lamb, and many more loving extended family.

Preceded in death by his parents and son Adam Jon Heulitt.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
