Bruce Barney Izatt

OGDEN – Our beloved father, brother, uncle, friend, and my dear husband passed away at home on May 23, 2016.  He was born on July 13, 1939 to William LeRoy and Hazzel Barny Izatt in Benson Ward, Utah.

He worked in the plumbing trade and retired after 40 years of service in the Utah Pipe Fitters Trades.  He was an honest, loving, and giving man.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and being outdoor with his family and friends.

He married the love of his life, Carma Chugg Thredgold in Ogden, Utah on August 1, 1986.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife, one brother, Jan “J.B.” Izatt; one sister, Linda Ann Izatt; and two sons, Tony Izatt and Brady Izatt; sons of Bruce and Sharon Kidman, and two stepchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
