Bruce E Neilson

Bruce passed away into the arms of angels on June 7, 2011. He was born May 9, 1939, the youngest of four children, to Kenneth M. and Dorothy D. Neilson. He was raised in SLC, graduated from South High and attended the U of U and Westminster College. Married Jacque Davis on March 31, 1964 and together raised three beautiful girls, Cydney Mignon Overton, April Anne Kiser (Rick), Jodilee Vanotti (Todd).

Bruce loved wood working on the lathe, making beautiful candlesticks and tables. He coached girls softball for Jobs Daughters and Bonnet Ball, often called "dad" by the whole team. He loved his amazing grandchildren and was their biggest fan in all they did. Keaton Overton, Alec Overton, James Dale Vanotti, Bryce Vanotti, Breanne Kiser and Cassidy Anne Kiser, loved him deeply in return.

Member of the Bountiful Community Church and Bountiful Lions Club for many years. Biggest Green Bay Packer fan and loved to place wagers against the Chicago Bears!

Leaves behind his wife, daughters, grandchildren, sister, JoAnn Harmon, brother-in-law, Allen Davis, many nieces, nephews and friends, and Molly, his best friend and companion dog. Special thanks to Kim, Darren, Annette, Emily, Beth and Lighthouse Hospice. They are wonderful.
