Bryan Joseph Lilly
July 1, 1983 ~ December 7, 2015.
Bryan Lilly, 32, passed away on December 7, 2015 in Ogden, Utah surrounded by his family and friends. Born on July 1, 1983 to Roger and Peggy (Porter) Lilly, Bryan grew up in South Ogden and could always be found with his best friend, younger brother Daren at his side. Bryan graduated from Bonneville High School and Weber State University. He worked as a drafting group leader at Nucor Building Systems where he was an incredible mentor and truly passionate about seeing his teammates succeed.
Bryan loved sports of all kinds and was a devout fan of the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed spending his summers hiking, boating, waterskiing, camping, and 4-wheeling with his family and friends. Bryan always looked forward to the annual Lake Powell house boat trip and loved including new friends on his adventures. He loved to travel and was always looking for new places to visit. Bryan was a friend to all who knew him and had an endless amount of “best friends” who he would entertain with his humor and his ability to throw a great party. He was a tremendous competitor and courageous fighter who had the most passionate love for life and his family and friends.
Bryan is survived by his dad, Roger; brother, Daren; sister, RyAnn (Tony) Henry; nephew, Austin; niece, RyLee; and his Grandma, Naomi Lilly; as well as many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mom, Peggy; grandparents, Roy Lilly and Joseph and Vanile Porter.
A celebration of Bryan’s life will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
