Bryce R. Peterson passed away December 25, 2022 from a series of strokes at age 59. He was born May 18, 1963 to Rollo S. Peterson and Eileen JaNae Hansen in Logan, Utah.
Bryce did have a really rough beginning of his life because the doctors discovered he had cancer at age 2. The doctors were able to treat the cancer and Bryce received a wonderful blessing that he would be able to live to fulfill his life’s mission. Bryce did have many issues with his abilities and with his body.
Bryce really liked to go fishing and play games with his siblings and parents. He liked to listen to country music. He would spend a lot of time watching TV or playing games on the computer. He loved to play bingo. He really loved to do things on his own.
He was a reserved and private person. He would open up to you once you have earned his trust. He was a happy and pretty mild person, he treated everyone with kindness. He had a good sense of humor.
Bryce served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Independence, Missouri.
He went to school to become a cook. He ended up working as a custodian at the Church Office Building and then he got a good job at the Conference Center in November of 2000 as a custodian.
He married his sweetheart Lisa Hanna on March 18, 1995. Bryce and Lisa were blessed with two beautiful children, Janae Rachel Peterson Van Wart and Samuel Bryce Peterson. They were blessed to have their first grandson on October 19, 2022.
He is survived by his parents Rollo and Eileen Peterson, his wife Lisa Peterson, his daughter Janae (Jesse) Van Wart, his son Samuel Peterson, his grandson Raylan Van Wart, and his 5 siblings, Lance (Cindy) Peterson, Layne (Bonnie) Peterson, Carrie (Don) Carroll, Bryant (Carolina) Peterson, and Amy (Tad) Wimmer.
