CLEARFIELD, UT- Buford (Tiny) Darr died Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was born in Trenton, Missouri, May 24, 1918 to George W. and Edith P. Criswell Darr. He married Ida Lillian Foster in 1941.

He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II, was wounded in action in Okinawa in 1945 and was awarded the Purple Heart. Tiny worked as an electrician for many years in the mining industry in Carbon County, Utah and retired from Hill Air Force Base. He loved working TDY in foreign countries.

He is survived by his four children, John Darr, Judy Bithell, Joyce Jensen- Martinez and Mary Martinez; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, where friends may visit with family from 12:30- 1:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Redwood Road, Wednesday, May 15th at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
