Bula H Casteel

Bula H. Casteel CLEARFIELD-Bula Harris Casteel, 88, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008, of age related conditions. She was born November 23, 1919 in Clearfield, Utah, the daughter of Orson Enoch Harris and Katie Layton Harris. She married Leo Pershing Casteel June 19, 1942. Marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Ogden Temple September 5, 1975. Bula lived her entire life in Clearfield. She worked as the Secretary for the Clearfield Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint and crochet. She enjoyed camping and being with her family. She is survived by her three sons; Dave (Chris) Casteel-Roy, UT, Richard Casteel-Littleton, CO, and Kurt Casteel- Peoria, AZ. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her six siblings. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 4, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 S. State St. Friends and family may call Monday from 12:00 to 1:30 pm. at the mortuary. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest a contribution be made to any Alzheimer’s organization.
