Layton – Burl Gene Quinn, 84, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018.
She was born February 28, 1934 in Clearfield, Utah the daughter of Leonard Losee and Ida Burl Jex Chatwin.
Burl married John Francis Quinn on January 21, 1955 in Clearfield, Utah.
Burl retired from HAFB.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Burl liked gardening, sewing, crocheting and reading. Her greatest joy in life was being with her family.
Surviving are her children, Vicky Burl Quinn, American Fork; John Dennis (Lisa) Quinn, Hudson, NH; Cathleen (William) David, Puyallup, WA; Patricia (W. Todd) Knowles, Layton; Michael Patrick (Stephanie) Quinn, Mount Airy, MD; Susan (Nicholas) Konchar, South Weber; sisters-in-law, Sheri Chatwin, Margaret McHugh, 26 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, brother, Ray Chatwin, South Jordan; two sisters, Maxine Hamblin, Kaysville; and Geraldine (Ralph) Larsen, Orem.
Preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Jeannie Quinn, two brothers, William Chatwin, Leonard Chatwin and one great-grandson, Donald Loyd Quinn Jr.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
