Caleb Jackson Cole
LAYTON a" Our beloved baby boy returned home to Jesus''s arms on Saturday, October 27, 2007. He was born August 20, 2007.
Caleb struggled with Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome and overcame unimaginable odds to bless us with his presence. With every day he grew stronger and his smile could almost make time stand still. In this we will always remember just how precious life is. For the short time we had with him this is the lesson he taught us, and for that we will be grateful forever. Our time with him was too short, but there was never a time more precious. Some angels can only stay away from heaven for what seems like only a moment, and we that are left behind thank God for every second we had to share with him.
Caleb is survived by his twin brother Noah; his two big brothers, Gaven and Ethan; his parents, Jesse and Anna; his grandparents, Jerry and Debbie Nielsen; Wanda and Val Adams; and Quentin Cole; his uncles, Shaun (Tara) Ferguson, Josh Nielsen, Tyson Cole, and Ryan (Ashley) Adams; and Aunt Shanna (Brandt) Justensen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ball, and Dr. Belfort and the entire staff at St. Marks Maternal Fetal Medicine, the staff at Ogden Regional NICU, Dr. Boheen, Dr. Nye, Dr. Kramer and Washington Heights Baptist Church for helping us to bring our little angel into this world and for caring for him as if he was family. We know that you loved him and we love you for that, you will always be family to us. We would also like to thank all of our family, friends, and church members for the tremendous amount of support, prayers and love you have shown us. We know that in Christ there are no goodbyes and there is no end. So to Caleb we say not goodbye, but we can''t wait to see you and hold you again. We will be homesick for you and miss you everyday. We loved you so much, and we love you still, and we always will.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Caleb J. Cole memorial fund at any America First Credit Union.
