CLEARFIELD a€" Calvin Don McCardle, 52, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011.

He was born September 9, 1958 in Brigham City, Utah the son of C. Richard and Mareen Andersen McCardle.

He married Cindy Mortenson on May 9, 2003 in Clearfield.

Calvin loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to BBQ for family and friends.

Surviving are his wife Cindy, daughter, Jocelyn (Matthew) Brummond, Smithfield, two grandchildren, Boston and Carter and one more on the way, stepchildren; Jamey (Frankie) Payne of Clinton; Brian (Destiny) Payne of Layton; Mistie (Jason) Holly of North Salt Lake; sisters, Tamara (Kent) Brown, West Haven; Yvonne Leavitt, Kaysville; brother, Tad McCardle, Franklin, ID; eight step grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his sister, Balinda Schofield and infant brother John Richard.

Graveside services will be held Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
