Carl Eugene Wagoner, 87, passed away at home with family Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Carl was born August 17, 1929, to Marion Dalphis and Myrtle May Wagoner in Elbing, Kansas. He was one of eleven children.
Carl proudly served four years in the United States Navy, from January 1947 until December 1951. He retired from federal civil service after 30 years. Carl was recently privileged to greet his brother, as Lewis’s remains were returned home to Kansas from Pearl Harbor, where he was killed in action 75 years ago.
Carl was preceded in death by his eternal wife, Marian Marie Wagoner. Together Carl and Marian raised five children: Lee, Mark, Lorna, Laurie, and Walter in San Diego, California.
Carl is survived by his five children, 22 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Huckleberry Ward, 1285 So. 2500 W. Syracuse, Utah. Friends may visit family Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
